Sorry, I couldn’t think of  a title for this post…

I was in one of those moods where you are confused, sad and cranky (all at once). I shared it with a friend and he had this quote to share with me. I was deeply humbled by it and well, forced to change my stand about some things… don’t ask!!!

“To love at all is to be vulnerable…
Love anything and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly be broken. If you want to be sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one – not even to a pet. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements.
Lock it up safely in the casket or the coffin of your selfishness.
But, in that casket – safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, unredeemable. The only
place outside heaven where you can be safe from all the dangers and
perturbations of love is hell.” – C.S. LEWIS

He had this line of his to add: “keep in mind the big picture/story already written before you appeared on the scene; ink’s long dry and there’s no known eraser” – xxx

Well, I was really blessed and couldn’t resist the urge to share it with you…Take care!

Hello people,

Its been ages. I cant believe I haven’t blogged this month. Work has been unbelievably crazy. You would not believe how much I have missed you!

Sitting down to write is always very “freeing”, so you can imagine what it has been like not talking to someone about the things that really matter to me.

Hmm..  there is so much catching up to do and it seems to be building everyday.

well first, let me show you some quotes a friend shared with me…

The unknown future

“I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity.” – Gilda Radner –

Sounds like the kind of thing I would write… watch out for my own quote!

“Paint a portrait of life to be proud of that could not be sold for all the money on earth. Hang that portrait in your mind and understand its ever presence. Reflect on every brush stroke that makes all the mountains and valleys and rivers and skies the most beautiful in the land. Share your portrait with others but beware their of brushes. Select only those whose brush will add to the beauty and structure of your masterpiece. – Chris Ensor –

Hmm, whose portrait is your brush beautifying?

“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; so I love you because I know no other way than this: where I does not exist, nor you. So close that your hand on my chest is my hand, so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.” – Pablo Neruda –

I was going to reserve this one for “him” but in my extreme nice nature decided to share it with you

Okay, I need to get back to work …

See you!!
